<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic capsule toner having good electrification property of a toner produced by a wet production method of which high quality picture is obtd., and to provide a production method of the capsule toner in which formation of the toner shell and electrification of the toner are simultaneously performed. CONSTITUTION:This capsule toner consists of a shell and a core material containing a fixing component and a coloring agent. The shell consists of a polyurea resin and/or polyurethane resin formed in the presence of a coupling agent. This capsule toner is produced by dispersing an oily material containing the fixing component, coloring agent and polyvalent isocyanate compd. as the first reactive component in an aq. dispersion medium containing polyamine as the second reactive component and/or polyols, and effecting interfacial poymn. of the reactive components in the presence of the coupling agent to form the shell. As for the coupling agent, a silane-base, titanate-base or aluminum-base coupling agent is preferably used.</p> |
