HYDROGEL LAMINATE, ADHESIVE PLASTER, CONJUGATE MATERIAL AND THOSE PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To improve the exfoliation resistance by forming a hydrogel layer containing a hydrophilic polymer which is laminated on an adhesive polymer layer coated on one side of a substrate and copolymerizing the two layers of the polymers. CONSTITUTION: This hydrogel laminate 10 which is suited to use as bandages for scald and wound has a substrate 16 of which one side is coated with an adhesive (adhesive polymer) 18, and hydrogel 20 containing a hydrophilic polymer which is formed on the side of the adhesive 18. The hydrogel 20 is graft- polymerized by electronic beam radiation to covalent bond with the adhesive 18, i.e., the adhesive polymer is copolymerized with the hydrophilic polymer contained in the hydrogel 20 by exposing electronic beam radiation. Thus, a laminate having excellent exfoliation resistance is obtained.
