PURPOSE:To obtain a stable plastic chopping-board not generating the disappearance, detachment and peeling of patterns by integrally subjecting a chopping board base material and a pattern material composed of the same material quality as the base material to thermoforming using a mold. CONSTITUTION:Ultra-high mol.wt. polyethylene being a chopping board raw material 5 is charged in a lower mold 1 so as to be deposited on a pattern material and the upper surface thereof is leveled. Thereafter, an upper mold 2 is closed to perform thermoforming. After thermoforming, the molds are opened to take out a patterned sheet 5a and the PET film bonded to the sheet 5a is removed. By this method, the pattern material 3 is integrally embedded in the obtained sheet 5a and red polka-dotted patterns each having a sharp contour are formed on the surface of the sheet 5a and the rear surface of the sheet is white. Next, in order to remove the foreign matter in the mold bonded to the surface of the sheet or fine air bubble holes generated at the time of molding, both surfaces of the sheet are cut and shaved up to the plan thickness of about 16mm of a chopping board by a planer. |
