<p>An antiviral agent containing a 2-acylaminopropanol derivative represented by general formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as the active ingredient, wherein R1 represents alkyl, or phenyl or cyclohexyl both of which may be substituted by one to three same or different members selected from alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy and nitro; and n represents an integer of 6 to 10. This agent exhibits an antiviral activity either by inhibiting antagonistically the combination of various viruses with GSL molecules present on the surface of a host cell or by inhibiting or controlling expression of GSL, and thus can be used for preventing or treating various viral infections.</p> |
