<p>A process for alkylating hydroxyaromatic compounds with a terminally unsaturated polymer in the presence of a partially or completely dehydrated heteropoly catalyst. The alkylated hydroxyaromatic compounds so formed are useful as percursors for the production of fuel and lubricant additives.</p> |
