The method generating calls similar to real situation, calculates the occupation rate of processor and measures the performance of switch. The system consists of an access switching subsystem (11), an interconnection network subsystem (12), an access switching processor (13) having simulation program for call connection request, an interconnection network processor (14), a space switch processor (15), a space switch (16), and a switching network control block (17) used for performance measurement.
