PURPOSE:To play music like beat jazz wherein a natural accent and a swing feeling are obtained by analyzing the rhythm pattern in a specific section and altering musical performance information according to the rhythm pattern. CONSTITUTION:For a musical performance like four-beat jazz, alteration processing wherein the sound volume is varied according to the pitches of notes and the musical performance information as data records are analyzed in specific section units to give an accent on the basis of the analytic result and shift sound generation timing is performed for the data records. Namely, when the automatic musical performance is carried out, musical performance parameters are set by operating a keyboard 22 or mouse 24. When the playing technique of the four-beat jazz is simulated, a personal computer 18 makes velocities and note numbers correspond to each other, analyzes and alters the musical performance information in each specific section, perform pitch bend processing and the addition of vibratos. |
