The invention relates to converters for converting direct current into alternating current, of the "inverter" type. The converter of the invention comprises a resonant circuit having an inductor (L1) and a capacitor (C). According to one characteristic of the invention, it further includes a second inductor (L2) and means (DC, K1, K2) for connecting the capacitor (C) alternately with the first and the second inductors (L1, L2).
