<p>For enabling an easy and strong joining of galvanized pipes (2) without any adverse spoiling of the galvanization layer it is proposed to use a hard soldering technique, whereby this layer, preparatory, is ground away along a short distance at the interior side and a longer distance at the exterior side, whereafter the pipe ends are held together with a small spacing and with an internal plate sleeve (8) mounted between the pipe ends; the soldering is effected against the plate sleeve with a soldering material of good strength and such a low melting temperature that no molten zinc will run to the soldering bath. Thereafter the gap between the pipe ends is filled out with soldering material until this material flows out on the exterior surfaces of the pipe ends.</p> |
