PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a sink or unevenness on a surface requiring excellent appearance at the time of the production of a thermoplastic resin foamed molded object. CONSTITUTION:The cavity 11 formed by closing a mold 1 wherein evacuating passages 6, 7 having suction ports 4, 5 are provided to both molding surfaces of male and female molds 2, 3 is filled with thermally foamable polypropylene 12 in a molten state and, immediately after the surface layer 14a of a molded object 14 is almost formed along the molding surface of the mold 1, the volume of the cavity is increased while the surface layer 14a is evacuatred to form the thermally foamable polypropylene 12 to obtain a thermoplastic resin foamed molded object 4. |
