PURPOSE:To prevent drawing of rain water in a ventilation fan in as small amount as possible. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of a main body 3 of hood is inclined downwardly and its lower end inner side is provided with an inner trough 10. Then, a front side end (the lowest part) of the inner trough 10 is provided with a drain port. Accordingly, rain water adhered to the inner surface of the main body 3 of the hood is collected at the inner trough 10 and drops from a drain port 10a. In addition, a baffle plate 12 is arranged above the drain port 10a, where an air speed is reduced. Further, a part near the drain port 10a is formed into a pipe by the inner trough 10 and the baffle plate 12 so as to prevent water in the inner trough from being reversely flowed. Due to this fact, it is possible to perform an effective prevention of rain water dropped from the drain port 10a from being entered into air flow and suction into the room. |
