PURPOSE:To restrain torsional deformation of a floor framing by disposing reinforcing ropes on both sides of the floor framing of a suspended scaffold (cat walk) for laying a long suspension bridge cable, and to restrain deformation due to a wind by connecting two right and left floor framings to each other obliquely by oblique stay ropes. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing ropes 2 are disposed on both sides of the floor framing 1 of a suspended scaffold for laying a long suspension bridge cable, and fixed to a lateral beam 3 projected from the floor framing to improve torsional rigidity to the live load of a suspended scaffold without a storm rope. Two sets of floor framing 1 are connected to each other at a cross bridge position by an oblique stay rope 8, so that the deformation perpendicular to the bridge axis against wind load can be restrained. |
