PURPOSE:To easily and smoothly arrive at a destination by a method wherein a direction calculation means for calculating the direction of the destination from a present place so that the direction is observed. CONSTITUTION:A direction of a destination from starting place is calculated based on the inputted starting place, longitude and latitude of the destination and data of a direction sensor 27 to be stored and indicated on an indication section 8. A reception signal from an electromagnetic induction coil is inputted to a CPU 25 for every one rotation of a front wheel to be counted. A speed and an integrated distance are calculated and stored so that traveling data is indicated. Further, a direction after a prescribed period of time is measured and longitude and latitude at that time is measured. The longitudes and latitudes of a moved present place and the destination are compared with each other and the direction of the destination is calculated to be stored in a RAM 26. It is judged whether the direction of the destination from the moved present place is deviated from the direction of that stored in a memory at an angle of 90 degrees or more. When there is the deviation therebetween, the direction of the destination is indicated on the indication section 8 and the operations are repeated. When a vehicle is driven toward the indicated direction, it is possible to easily arrive at the destination. |
