PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the output characteristic of the output signal according to the temperature, stabilize the detection sensitivity of torque, and further improve detection precision and reliability. CONSTITUTION:A posistor increasing the resistance value with a temperature rise is used for the input temperature-sensitive resistor 42 of an amplifying circuit 41 amplifying the signal outputted from the center C of a half-bridge circuit 11, and a thermistor changing the resistance value with a temperature rise is used for the negative feedback temperature-sensitive resistor 44 of an adjusting circuit 43 constituting part of a processing circuit. When temperature is changed, amplification factors of the amplifying circuit 41 and the adjusting circuit 43 are changed according to the temperature respectively, the inclination of the output characteristic of the output signal outputted from a differential amplifying circuit 27 nearly coincides with the inclination of the output characteristic at the reference temperature, and the leakage voltage at the time of no torque is resolved.
