<p>PURPOSE: To provide method and device for easily and automatically changing the setting parameters of a machine and a device through a thin layer medium. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the method for changing the value of the setting parameter for determining the operating condition of the machine, a mark coded according to the value of the setting parameter or configuration parameter of the machine is generated on the thin layer medium (a), a thin layer medium 5 provided with the prescribed mark is supplied to the automatic reading head of this machine (b), a graph signal generated on the thin layer medium 5 is automatically read by the reading head means integrated into the control component of the machine (c), the read result is transmitted to a microprocessor 9 (d), this read value is compared with fixed tables 10 and 11 stored in a computer memory equivalent with that parameter value (e), and the microprocessor 9 issues an instruction to the component of the machine depending on the exact values of parameters on different operating conditions (f).</p> |
