<p>A novel catalyst composition and process for catalytic cracking of a hydrocarbon oil. The catalyst comprises zeolite beta and a shape selective cracking component, preferably ZSM-5, and may include conventional cracking catalyst components such as zeolite Y. These components may be present in one particle or as a blend of separate particle additives. The composition increases light olefin yields and gasoline octane as compared to catalyst containing either, but not both of, ZSM-5 and zeolite beta.</p> |
