PURPOSE:To provide the subject method which can be desirably applied to land of a special shape such as a slope e. g. a shoulder of a road to which a common soil conditioning method can not be applied. CONSTITUTION:This conditioning method comprises slurrying a soil conditioner containing modified coal ash prepared by adding an aqueous alkali solution to coal ash, modifying the ash by hydrothermal treatment and subjecting the mixture to purification treatments including liquid removal, water washing and dewatering with water, spraying this slurry on the surface of acid soil of an elution pH of 5.0 or below to improve the acidity of the surface of the soil. According to this method, the permeability into acid soil of a special shape to which a common soil conditioning method can not be applied can be improved, the erosion of a slope which is land of a special shape can be prevented, the application efficiency (workability) can be improved, and the effect is not localized to give a degree of acidity conditioning of 100%. |
