The invention concerns a cutting arrangement intended to be mounted on a movable beam on a working machine or the like. The cutting arrangement comprises a frame part 6a, a cutter 7 for cutting the tree, a space 8 for the tree which is to be cut, members 12, 13 for setting the cutter 7 in motion for cutting the tree, the cutter 7 having been mounted at a hinge point 11 near the space 8 of the frame part 6a intended for the tree. The cutting edge 7a of the cutter 7 is eccentric in relation to the hinge point 11 of the cutter 7. The members 12, 13 for setting the cutter 7 in motion for cutting the tree consist of at least one drive arm 12a, 13a which is included in one or more hydraulic work arrangements 12, 13, and with which the cutter 7 and cutting edges 7a have been arranged to be rotated eccentrically in relation to hinge point 11 above the space 8 for the tree which is to be cut. <IMAGE>
