<p>PURPOSE:To maintain a high garbage treating capacity by providing the inside surface of a treating vessel housing carriers with an earmark indicating the standard capacity of the carriers, thereby enabling the easy check of the carrier capacity in the treating vessel with simple constitution and preventing the degradation in a garbage decomposing capacity by deficiency of the carriers. CONSTITUTION:The flanks of the treating vessel 1 made of a synthetic resin are recessed and provided with plural reinforcing parts 2 toward the inside surface side. The upper reinforcing part 2 is used as the earmark for indicating the standard capacity of the carriers 3 to be housed in the treating vessel 1. Fine wooden pieces to be used as the carriers 3 are porous, have good air permeability and water permeability and have the properties to maintain the moisture and air adequate for propagation of Aschelminthes and microorganisms. The Aschelminthes, such as Rotifera and Namatodaand the microorganisms, such as protozoa and bacteria, sticking to the garbage propagate when the garbage is mixed with the carriers 3. The Aschelminthes and microorganisms decompose the garbage finally to water and carbon dioxide, thereby dissipating the garbage. The decrease of the carriers 3 by long-term use is checked by the upper reinforcing part 2 formed on the inside surface of the treating vessel 1. The deficient component is properly made up.</p> |
