PURPOSE:To achieve heat-resistance suitable for high temperature filling and have great seal-opening torque by retaining a transparency in the whole of the neck of an unoriented vessel, and heating it by the use of saturated polyester resin containing a specified quantity of diethylene glycol. CONSTITUTION:The saturated polyester resin vessel is made to retain a transparency in the whole of the neck of an unsaturated vessel having a flange with the use of saturated polyester resin containing 2mol.% or lower diethylene glycol polyester resin, to then be shrunk and set through heating. Such round vessel made of polyethyleneterephthalate comprises a vessel neck portion 1 and trunk portion 2, and the mouthpiece wall thickness 5 and outer diameter 6 are indicated. The neck portion of the vessel manufactured is mounted on a guide boss 7 to then be heat-treated through a heater 3 by providing a heat- shielding plate 4, in order to achieve heat set and pre-shrinkage. |
