PURPOSE:To prevent the improvident change of a mode by setting and shifting to an automatic mode from a manual mode by the respective 'on' operation of an automatic mode setting switch switched by a worker to set a control mode and a switch actuated by the conscious operation of the worker. CONSTITUTION:An automatic traveling vehicle, an automatic traveling type drug sprinkler in an orchard or the like, for instance, is provided with a control device 100 for controlling travel by switching a control mode between an automatic mode and a manual mode. In the control device 100, two MPUs 101, 102 are connected to each other by a communication wire 103, and a control signal is outputted to the solenoid control valve 29 of a hydraulic cylinder for operating at least a travel clutch and a brake automatically. In this case, an automatic mode setting switch 46 switched by a worker to set the control mode, and a switch actuated by the conscious operation of the worker such as a shift switch 46 are connected to the control device 100. These switches are respectively operated on to set and shift to the automatic mode. |
