PURPOSE:To register a new identification code to a ROM of a slave set and a master set without use of an exclusive ROM writer. CONSTITUTION:The invention relates to the cordless telephone set having a master set 2 connecting to a telephone line 3 and a slave set 1 connected to the master set 2 through a radio channel. The slave set 1 (master set 2) is provided with a memory 16 (26) storing an identification code used to identify them from other slave and master sets. An identification code is generated by one of the slave set 1 and the master set 2. The generated identification code is written in the memory 16 or 26 provided in one of the slave set 1 and the master set 2 and transferred to the other of the slave set 1 and the master set 2. The other of the slave set 1 and the master set 2 writes the transferred identification code in the memory 26 or 16. |
