PURPOSE:To provide a sampling time synchronization system which can maintain the sampling synchronization relationship even when only one of two transmission paths between two terminals fails. CONSTITUTION:The sampling time synchronization system performs the synchronized control of sampling time between two terminal stations depending on the signal receiving time from a partner station of two stations. A terminal station comprises a measuring means 51 for measuring a transmission delay time when the transmission path is normal, a storage means 52 for storing the measured transmission delay time and a control means for controlling the sampling timing of self station on the basis of the transmission delay time stored in the storage means 52 when transmission line is sound and the receiving time at the sound terminal station when measurement of the receiving time of the one terminal station disabled due to a failure of the transmission system. |
