<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of the voice service based on erroneous recognition by stopping the transmission when the content of a PB signal included in a voice mail from a caller and the content of a PB signal included in a voice mail sent to the caller are coincident prevent the erroneous recognition of the PB signal. CONSTITUTION:A caller requests the reproduction of a voice mail recorded in a memory 21 of a voice reply device 1 by using a telephone set 5. A control section 19 extracts voice data from the memory 21 and outputs the data to a caller via a voice output section 23 and an amplifier 9b. While the voice data are sent to the output section 23, the caller depresses a PB button of the telephone set 5. When the PB button is depressed, a PB detector 13 detects a PB signal and informs the control section 19 of it. A PB detector 25 replies with the request from the caller to detect the PB signal included in the sent voice mail and informs the control section 19 or it. The control section 19 stops the transmission of the voice mail to the caller so long as the contents of the PB signals detected by the detectors 13,25 are coincident.</p> |
