The apparatus for displaying the redialling or memorized number in visual display includes a keypad (18) having a first illuminator lighting all number buttons with a first light colour and a second illuminator lighting the redialling buttons with a second light colour, and a CPU (10) controlling the illuminators. The CPU turns on the first light in case of the off-hook and the second light in case of the redialling. It turns off the second light after completing the redialling.
