<p>PURPOSE:To improve the rolling precision of a thin metal sheet by adjusting the strain of the rolling stand. CONSTITUTION:In a method to obtain a rolled article with a prescribed thickness by feeding a metal stock into rolling rolls 1, 2 and adjusting the clearance between rolling rolls, this method adjusts the amount of elastic strain of the rolling stand and finely adjusts the thickness of articles. Vertical grooves 14 are provided inside connecting columns 12 between a base plate and a top plate 10 of the rolling stand which keeps holding bearing parts 3, 4 of the rolling rolls, and hydraulic devices to add the extension elastic strain to the connecting columns are installed inside the vertical grooves.</p> |
