PURPOSE:To provide a herbicidal composition capable of enlarging the range of application time especially for barnyard grass which is a strongly noxious weed in paddy field and reducing the effective dose of the chemical by synergistic effects of active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:This herbicidal composition contains (A) a carbamate-based derivative expressed by formula I [A is expressed by formula II or III (X is H or a 1-4C haloalkyl); B is formula IV (R<1> is H or a 1-4C alkyl; R<2> is R<1> or methoxyethyl; R<3> is a 1-6C alkyl, a 1-4C haloalkyl or phenyl)] and/or an amide-based derivative expressed by formula V [C is formula VI or VII (Y is X); D is formula VIII (R<4> is R<1>; R<5> is R<4> or a 1-4C acyl; R<6> is H, a 1-6C alkyl or a 1-4C haloalkyl)] and (B) at least one selected from among chloroacetamide-based herbicides (e.g. pretilachlor), five thiocarbamate-based herbicides (e.g. benthiocarb), two amide-based herbicides (e.g. mefenacet), three diphenyl ethereal herbicides (e.g. chlornitrofen), two triazine-based herbicides (e.g. simetryn) and eight heterocyclic herbicides (e.g. oxadiazon). |
