PURPOSE: To provide a multiple access communication method and a communication equipment capable of preventing or compensating signal collisions generated by signals simultaneously transmitted from plural mobile stations relating to a multiple access communication system. CONSTITUTION: In this multiple access system, at least one of the transmission and reception of radio signals is performed in each one of the prescribed number of mutually discriminatable channels. Access to one of the prescribed number of the channels is made possible for coexisting one user and the access to the prescribed number of the other channels is made possible on mutually discriminatable sub channels for the coexisting plural users.
