<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly input hand-written characters by detecting the hand shake of an input tablet at the pen input and correcting the shape of input graphic information of pen-input characters in response to the detection. CONSTITUTION:In the pen input system to input handwritten characters to the electronic equipment by giving the input by a pen 1 to a tablet 2, an accerelation sensor 3 detects the vibration of the tablet 2 at the pen input. Based on the character graphic coordinate information from the hand-written tablet 2, accerelation change amount information in the X-Y directions from an accerelation sensor 3, information from a timer 4 which measures the timing at the accerelation change, that is, the information which shows in which point of the character input the vibration occurs and how long the accerelation lasts, a character recognizing device or a character recognition 5 by software corrects the shape of the input graphic information of the pen-inputted handwritten characters and removes the distortion of the input graphic.</p> |
