<p>PURPOSE:To quickly detect the disconnection of line connection by providing this line connection disconnection detecting device with a line disconnection detecting decoding means and a line disconnection detecting means for judging the presence of disconnection of a line connection from the detected result of coincidence/noncoincidence between a transmitting signal and a disconnection detecting decoding signal. CONSTITUTION:A device MODEM 12 concerned has a line connection disconnecting circuit 7 in addition to the constitution of a conventional MODEM. A demodulated output signal from a receiving part 2 is applied to a descrambler 6 and further to a descrambler 71 in the circuit 7. When the signal from the receiving part 2 is applied to the descrambler 71 after disconnecting the line connection, the same data as the transmitting data (A) of the device concerned can be reproduced by executing descrambling by using a call originating mode MODEM generating polynomial(GPC). Thereby the descrambled data (c) of the descrambler 7 is compared with the data (A) by a comparator 72 and the disconnection of the line connection is detected based on the result of the comparison.</p> |
