<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a display stop period in one screen display period by executing a coordinate detection, based on a voltage value held in X and Y coordinate detecting parts in an image display period. CONSTITUTION:When each switch element of a Y coordinate detection switch part 14 becomes ON simultaneously by a CPU 4, a coordinate detection voltage obtained by a Y electrode by electrostatic capacity coupling is inputted to a Y coordinate detecting part 13 side through each switch element, and a voltage of every inputted electrode comes to be held temporarily in capacitors C1-Cn. Subsequently, a multiplexer 17 selects and outputs successively the voltage held in the capacitors C1-Cn, based on the timing of s clock CLK. Accordingly, in accordance with a position on the tablet of a stylus pen 12, a voltage with the determined wave form is obtained as an output L of the multiplexer 17. In this regard, an X coordinate detecting part 15 also executes the same operation. In such a way, by providing a detecting period mode between block display periods, image display and coordinate detecting operations are executed.</p> |
