<p>PURPOSE:To provide a stable negatively chargeable toner having satisfactory triboelectric chargeability. CONSTITUTION:This toner is based on a resin binder, a colorant and an electric charge controlling agent contg. a copolymer contg. a monomer represented by general formula I and having 1,500-10,000 number average mol. wt. A compd. represented by general formula II may further be used. In formula I, each of R<1>-R<3> is H, 1-8C lower alkyl or aryl, M<n+> is K<+>, Na<+>, Ca<2+>, Mg<2+> or Al<3+> and (n) is a positive integer. In formula II, X is -SO2- or -CO-, each of R<4>-R<7> is H, 1-10C lower alkyl or aryl, Y is I or Br, (m) is a positive integer and (n) is a positive integer.</p> |
