The present invention provides a prescription diet composition containing a poly-unsaturated fatty acid such a tau -linolenic acid, alpha - linolenic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, and/or biotin, and an antiflatulent such as a lactic acid bacterium, a bifid bacterium, a butyric acid bacterium and a bacillus. The prescription diet composition is useful for the prevention and treatment of pet dermatosis. |
