<p>PURPOSE:To carry the operation to remove the moisture, such as saliva, and stains, et., sticking to the teeth prior to a bite inspection by forming the bite inspection preparing sheet having water feedability. CONSTITUTION:The bite inspection preparing sheet 1 is made of a hygienic material having water absorptivity and is cut to a tongue shape adaptable for insertion into the patient's mouth. A handle part 2 extending outward is formed at the one end. An inspector holds the handle part 2 with the fingertips and inserts the sheet into the patient's mouth to make prepn. for the bite inspection by using the bite inspection preparing sheet 1. The patient inserted with the bite inspection preparing sheet 1 bites the sheet and glides the lower jaw transversely and longitudinally several times. The patient, thereafter, opens the mouth to put the bite inspection preparing sheet 1 out of the mouth and in turn, the patient puts a bite sheet into the mouth and bites the sheet. The bite inspection is thus carried out. The moisture and stains on the masticating surfaces of the teeth to be inspected are removed simply when the patient bites the bite inspection preparing sheet and glides the lower jaw in such a manner and, therefore, the need for the laborious preparatory operation is eliminated.</p> |
