The arrangements and the positions of the centres of gravity of the machine components (18, 21) are designed for optimum manoeuvrability and optimum equilibrium. The multiplicity of mirrors (17a-17e) comprise a first deflection mirror (17a), which is a circularly polarising mirror and the accuracy of which is adjustable, and a large number of following deflection mirrors (17b-17e) which are arranged to compensate for any phase displacement amounts ( DELTA PS DEG ). The following mirrors can be mirrors coated with ES or PS and can be realised with convex, concave, collimating mirrors and lenses etc., according to demand. <IMAGE>
