PURPOSE:To reduce the time for the selection work and prevent the deterioration of the appearance due to the increase of the dimension and number of needle holes by cutting the vicinity at the center of a web caught by one drum, between the drum and the other drum and holding the web by a biting device on the other drum and transferring the web. CONSTITUTION:On the sawing drum 22 of a single drum (circumferential length L), a pair of sawing cutter devices 13 are installed, and two pairs in each of needle devices 15c having each sawing cutter receiving devices 14c and the folding blade devices 25 are installed on the folding drum 23 of a double drum (circumferential length 2L), and two pairs of biting devices 26 are installed in an interval of L/2 on a biting drum 24. A web sent into between the sawing drum 22 and the folding drum 23 by a nipping roller is cut to a sheet having a length L by a sawing!-cutter device 13e and a sawing cutter receiving device 14c. When the needle device 15c is retracted through turn and shift, together with the folding drum 23 by the needle device 15, the center part in the sheet length direction is inserted into the biting device 26 by the folding blade device 25, and a parallel fold section which is half bent and has a length of L/2 is formed. |
