PURPOSE:To provide a polarizing plate excellent in durability in an environment at a high temp. and humidity. CONSTITUTION:The durability of a polarizing plate is improved by using a multilayered film consisting of an amorphous polymer film, a boric acid (precursor)-contg. layer and an amorphous polymer film as a protective film. The total amt. of elemental boron forming boric acid (precursor) in the boric acid (precursor)-contg. layer is 0.4-10wt.% of the amt. of the polarizer. |
