<p>PURPOSE:To protect a tape by stopping the rotation of a guide roller at the time of tape loading and tape unloading in a magnetic recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:The tape guide device is provided with guide roller rotation preventing means 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105 for preventing the rotation of the guide roller 12 capable of rotating around a shaft and a releasing means for releasing the rotation preventing means in a prescribed position. Consequently, at the time of tape loading and tape unloading operation in the magnetic recording and reproducing device, the guide roller is brought under the state of infeasibility of its rotation, so that the vertical movement of a tape is suppressed, and the tape can be protected.</p> |
