The image of shadow mask is obtained without the light interference using the image acqusition apparatus. The image acqusition apparatus includes a slit (3) having through holes, a convex lens (4) for forming the light beam in parallel, a screen (6) for focusing the shadow mask image, a conveyer (5) for sending the shadow mask between the convex lens and the screen (6), a line scan camera (7) for aquisiting the image focused on the screen, and an image processor unit including a video memory (8), and a monitor (9).
