PURPOSE:To enhance printing quality by preventing the generation of the strain of an electrostatic field in an ink jet printer deflecting the flight direction of an ink liquid droplet corresponding to the charge level of the ink liquid droplet. CONSTITUTION:A fixing stand 30 having deflection electrodes 11a, 12a, 11b, 12b for forming electrostatic fields fixed thereto is constituted of a ceramic material and the thermal deformation of the fixing stand at a time when heat is generated by the short-circuit current flowing accross the deflection electrodes through the ink mist bonded to the fixing stand is prevented. |
