PURPOSE:To obtain the subject stabilizer, composed of a zinc carboxylate, basic zinc carboxylate, sodium, potassium, barium monocarboxylates, etc., and a specific mixed solvent, excellent in decomposition accelerating action on chemical foaming agents and capable of providing foams good in hue and hand. CONSTITUTION:The objective stabilizer obtained by blending (A) 10-85wt.% zinc carboxylate or basic zinc carboxylate prepared by reacting propionic acid with a 7-18C monocarboxylic acid at (0.2:1.8)-(1.6:0.4) molar ratio with (B) 3-45wt.% at least one selected from sodium, potassium and barium 7-18C monocarboxylates or perbasic barium carboxylate and (C) 8-60wt.% mixed solvent obtained by mixing a hydrocarbon having >=100 deg.C boiling point with an alcohol (e.g. ethylene glycol) at 1.0:(0.03-10.0) weight ratio and, as necessary, a stabilizing assistant, etc. |
