AIR CONDITIONED ROOM OUTDOOR MACHINE INCLUDING ACTIVE SOUND DEADENING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To effectually remove sound three-dimensionally radiated from a blow-off outlet of a fan by providing sound deadening means facing the fan, and providing sound deadening means adjoining the sounding means in the same direction as that of the sounding means. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 11 for cooling and condensing a compressed refrigerant is provided on an outdoor machine 1. A fan 6 driven by a motor 7 is provided in a casing formed with the heat exchanger 11. A blow-off outlet 8 is formed in a casing corresponding to the front surface of the fan 6. As an active sound deadening device a pickup 4 as noise detection means is mounted on the fan motor 7, and a speaker is as sound deadening means are mounted on a blow-off guard 9 respectively. The speaker 2 is opposed to the front surface of the fan 6 at the center of the blow-off outlet 8. In contrast, the microphone 3 is directed toward the fan adjoining the speaker 2.
