In a process for sorting of clay material in a sorting plant, the clay material is fed into at least one feeder station in the sorting plant and thereafter out onto a sieve conveyor belt and further to a sifting or sorting device, wherein the clay material is sorted in different material fractions. A sorting plant hereby includes at least one feed station (1), a sieve conveyor belt (2), and a sieve or sorting device (3). In order to, among other things, make it possible for a larger part of the clay material to be sorted in different material fractions, prior to sorting it is subjected to a first breakdown and at least one of the material fractions after sorting before a second breakdown and thereafter wholly or partly before an additional first breakdown, after which the material fraction is fed back to the sifting or sorting device for further sorting. The sorting plant thereby features a first device (9) for the breakdown of the clay material before sorting thereof in addition to a second device (10) for breaking down the material in at least one of the material fractions after sorting and re-feeding the entire or whole lot to the first breakdown device (9) before the same reaches the sifting or sorting device for further sorting.<IMAGE> |
