<p>A switching device (1) for opening or closing an electrical power circuit (5). The device comprises at least one first conductive member (3) forming a first terminal of said electrical circuit, and at least one second conductive member (7) which is movable relative to the first member and forms a second terminal of said electrical circuit. Each of the first and second conductive members includes an electrical contact portion in the form of a threaded portion (11), and the threaded portion on the first conductive members and the threaded portions on the second conductive member are complementary so that screwing in (unscrewing) a first conductive member and a second conductive member reliably closes (opens) said electrical power circuit (5). The device may be used in controlled switching devices for electrical circuits in motor vehicles.</p> |
