<p>PURPOSE:To arbitrarily manufacture a stainless steel sheet having a prescribed L-camber by controlling an approach angle and an outlet angle of the steel sheet to a skin pass mill. CONSTITUTION:The stainless steel sheet 3 is reduced lightly by skin pass rolls 1 and coiled round a coiling reel 4 to form a skin pass line. Then, each vertically movable roll 2 is arranged respectively on the inlet side and the outlet side of the skin pass mill to control the approach angle and the outlet angle of the steel sheet to the skin pass mill. For this reason, contact areas of the upper and the lower skin pass rolls 1 to the steel sheet are different, consequently, the upper half and lower half of the sheet are different in plastic deformation and the camber of the steel sheet 3 in the L-direction can be controlled freely. As a result, it is possible to manufacture the stainless steel sheet which requires a definite camber in the rolling direction or L-direction.</p> |
