摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the sheet thickness deviation caused on the irregularity of the flow stress in the longitudinal direction of a rolled stock in a tandem rolling mill, and to apply the above procedure even for a rolling equipment without providing an X-ray thickness measuring unit. CONSTITUTION:At the time of applying mass flow constant control between an (i-1)th stand and (i)th stand having a tension meter and a velocity meter, a rolling down position changing amount DELTASi1 is calculated in order to make the difference DELTAT(i-1) between a tension measured value and a target value zero and the rolling down position of the (i)th stand is corrected by the calculated amount. Further, the (i-1)th stand outlet side sheet thickness h(i-1) is calculated based on a gage meter equation, the deviation DELTAh(i-1) is calculated, and the rolling down position changing amount DELTASi2 for reducing the (i)th stand outlet side sheet thickness deviation and the (i-1)th stand roll circumferential velocity changing amount DELTAVR(i-1) for reducing the sheet thickness deviation caused by DELTAh(i-1) are calculated, and the rolling down position and the roll circumferential velocity are corrected by calculated amounts at the time point when the DELTAh(i-1) part reaches the (i)th stand.</p>
