PURPOSE:To stabilize the movement of a photofunctional element by providing a protective means which suppresses the steam partial pressure in an organic molecular film having photoelectric conversion function. CONSTITUTION:As a photofunction developing layer 3 is isolated from outside by a protective means 5, the steam partial pressure in the photofunction developing layer 3 is constantly maintained. As a result, stabilized photovoltaic force/ time characteristics can be obtained irrespective of the steam partial pressure of outside atmosphere. Accordingly, the movement of a photofunctional element can be stabilized. Also, by reducing the other component such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and the like, an element, which is not subjected to physical and chemical damage and operated stably for a long period, can be obtained. |
