The subject of the invention is a method for manufacturing grinding tools having a base body which carries an abrasive coat. The abrasive coat has hard-material grains, such as diamond grains, which are held in a bond. In order to simplify the manufacturing method, it is provided, after applying the abrasive coat (8) to the base body (2), to subject the tool (1), vacuum-packed in a film (10), to hot isostatic pressing in an autoclave.
