<p>PURPOSE:To improve the electrostatic chargeability of toner and to improve the quality of an image by fitting the material quality of a toner replenishing member to the material quality of the toner. CONSTITUTION:In the case of using polyester resin-based toner, an NBR rubber roller whose surface is coated with silicone modified EPDM rubber, or a roller which is made of blended rubber of the NBR rubber and the silicone modified EPDM rubber is used as a replenishing roller 35C. Besides, it is preferable to use a roller constituted by coating a core bar with materials with a silicone resin base and combined CCA(electrostatic charging control agent) and carbon black in the case of using polyester resin-based toner, or polyolefine resin-based toner, and the toner layer can be satisfactorily made thin especially in the case of using the polyolefine resin-based toner. And also, the replenishing roller 35C constituted of the silicone modified EPDM rubber can be used for the polyolefine resin-based toner.</p> |
