<p>PURPOSE: To provide a terminal which easily connects coaxial cables mutually maintaining impedance matching, an electric connector which uses it, and its connection. CONSTITUTION: An internal conductor 20 of a coaxial cable 10 is crimped to a terminal 30 and is terminated. The terminal 30 has a crimp barrel 40, a connecting part 42 with a toroidal shelf part 38, a middle part 34 and a contact part 32. Shapes and sizes of the connecting part 42 and the middle part 34 are formed having best impedance matching when engaging with other terminals. Moreover, when crimped, the toroidal shelf part touches at a stopping shoulder part 130 of an alignment member 100 arranged in a tool and the terminal 30 is aligned in the position suitable for crimp.</p> |
